Despite continued skepticism in much of the tech press about Muni Wi-Fi, a recent article in Informationweek demonstrates how cool ubiquitous wi-fi can be and the pent-up demand that will drive revenues, once the networks are in place.

This is my first experience with muni wireless, and while both I and my colleagues have been fairly skeptical about the prospects for muni Wi-Fi, I have to say that at the moment it's PFC: pretty freaking cool."
