Community Technology

The ZeroDivide Industry Challenge was established in 2005 to bring technology access to California’s underserved communities. ZeroDivide and AT&T are partnering in this mission by committing to raise $1 million a year through 2009 to invest in community technology.

For donations received by ZeroDivide before September 30, 2007, AT&T will match, dollar for dollar, up to $1 million in contributions. If ZeroDivide raises $1 million a year in four years for a total of $4 million, AT&T’s Industry Challenge will result in an additional $8 million towards achieving a ZeroDivide.

Sources of funds and in-kind* contributions eligible for match include:

  • Information and Communication Technology Companies
  • Media companies
  • Computer companies
  • Multimedia companies
  • Up to $250,0000 from:
  • Public, private and corporate foundations
  • Non-Information and Telecommunication industry foundations
  • Individuals

*in-kind contributions are calculated at fair market value
